Case study — Fintech
From zero to ranking on Google in one week: an AI-built website for a debt tracking app

- 1 week
The situation
Our client had built a debt tracking application — a genuinely useful tool helping people see, organise and pay down what they owe. What they didn't have was a website. No online presence meant no sign-ups, no way to test messaging, and no data on whether people were even searching for what they'd built.
The traditional agency route would have quoted them 6–8 weeks and a five-figure budget just to get a site live. They needed to be visible now.
What we did
This is exactly the kind of project our AI-fast, human-judged approach was built for.
AI-assisted development from day one. We used Claude Code, Codex and a set of supporting tools to compress weeks of development into days. AI handled the heavy lifting of code generation; our senior team directed it, reviewed everything, and made the judgement calls — what to build, what to cut, and what "good" looks like for a financial product where trust is everything.
Built SEO-ready from the first commit. Clean semantic structure, fast load times, proper metadata, structured data, and a sitemap submitted to Google Search Console on launch day. Speed to index was the goal, so nothing was left to "fix later."
Content targeting real search demand. Pages written around the terms people actually use when they're struggling to keep track of debts — the searches this product exists to answer.
What changed
- A live website — not a staging link — launched within the one-week sprint.
- Indexed by Google and appearing in results for its target terms in week one.
- The client went from no online presence to a working channel for sign-ups and message testing, at a fraction of a traditional build's cost and timeline.
The takeaway
AI-assisted development isn't about replacing designers and developers — it's about removing the waiting. With senior judgement steering the tools, a week is now enough to go from nothing to a live, ranking website.
